500 Campaign Props along Jalan H Bokir Removed

Joint personnel from Panwascam elements, representatives of political parties, Satpol PP, and sub-district apparartus, cleared 500 attributes or props (APK) on Jalan H. Bokir, Dukuh Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, Monday (2/5).

Those props removed are flags, billboards, banners, and so forth

Kramat Jati Panwascam Chairwoman, Umi Wastiyah said the 500 campaign props were removed, as they were damaged and endangered the safety of motorists. It is a follow-up to complaints from the community to his party and Dukuh Urban Village.

"Those props removed are flags, billboards, banners, and so forth," he expressed.

However, personnel left the props still neatly installed and will be put in order on February 11 considering that it is already a quiet day before the election.

Dukuh Urban Village's Government Section Head, Nurmalia added his party received many complaints from the public about campaign props that had been damaged and were installed haphazardly.

"To remove them, we coordinate with the Panwascam," she explained.

The operation started from Kali Cipinang Bridge near Hek Intersection to Jagorawi Toll Road Bridge.

"All props are removed, but the rest are still in the urban village office," she stated.
